September 19, 2025 – BITEC BURI (BITEC BURI) is committed to driving community and environmental initiatives. Most recently, it joined forces with the Bang Na District Office and the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) to launch the “Baan Nee Mai Tae Ruam” (Separate Your Waste at Home) campaign.
The project aims to empower residents with the knowledge to sort waste correctly, significantly reduce overall community waste, and instill a lasting environmental consciousness. The core focus is on establishing proper sorting habits right at the household level.
📌 Campaign Highlights:
- Demonstrations on sorting 4 types of waste:
- Food Scraps (for composting)
- Recyclables
- Hazardous Waste
- General Waste
- Distribution of environmental knowledge guides and media.
- Workshops on composting food scraps for home use.
- Giving away seedlings to encourage household gardening and green spaces.
The ultimate goal of “Baan Nee Mai Tae Ruam” is to build a clean, sustainable, and eco-friendly society, driven by the collective effort of every home.
