
BITEC BURI is committed to protecting the environment through proper electronic waste (E-Waste) management. By handling E-Waste responsibly, BITEC BURI helps reduce environmental impact and supports a more sustainable society.
On 25 December 2025, the BITEC BURI team collected electronic waste from E-Waste drop-off points within the area and sent it for proper disposal in collaboration with the AIS E-Waste Project, using the delivery service of Thailand Post.

Types of E-Waste You Can Disposal
The following electronic items can be dropped off at the E-Waste collection points at BITEC BURI:
- Power banks and mobile phone batteries
- Small electrical appliances, such as irons and hair dryers
- Mobile phones and tablets
- Headphones, speakers, keyboards, and mice
- Charging cables and other electronic accessories



How to Prepare E-Waste Before Disposal
For safety and proper handling, BITEC BURI recommends these three simple steps before disposing of electronic waste:
- Delete all personal data from your devices.
- Remove memory cards before disposal.
- If a battery is swollen, soak it in water for about 5 hours, then wrap it in a bag or paper before disposal.
